Mother-in-Law's 40 Breeder Build (1 Viewer)

Plumbing is fit and glued. We were actually able to utilize almost all of the previous plumbing...unions, check valve, etc. It's awesome having a professional do it. My FIL could have done it with his eyes closed seemed like.

Salt is in the tank. Will add some live rock to the sump Friday most likely to start the cycle. We might end up switching out the ball valve for a gate valve since the used valve is awfully sticky. Otherwise all seems well. :)

I'm thinking of having the jebao rw-8s on the back of the tank vs the sides for asethtics. With mixing the salt seems like there will be plenty of flow. Anyone see potential issues with this?

Slow progress on this due to a busy/sick last couple of weeks. Looks like Tuesday night will be rockscaping night finally. Unless something major is needed, I'm thinking just using epoxy for the most part. A couple of nice structures that I could remove if necessary but that are sturdy and secure.

I used 2 20lb bags in my 40b and it was just right diamond goby never sifted all the way to glass ever but got close. Had a jawfish that reached the glass though
