so stand and canopy pics are going to have to wait... i think my dog (yes that dog ashley!!!) ate the camera cord and since i dont have a light in that corner of the room all the pics are very dark.

but heres 2 more of the scape i took tonight with the ladies iphone.. btw having a cycling tank really sucks

I agree with you on the tank size. Real estate is precious small tanks. I could not have anything under 50 gallons as my *only* display.

What type of corals are you shooting for?

deff gunna need more flow in this tank... ive moved the tunzes up higher on the back glass basically just under the returns so the loc line kinda hides them better... im thinking either one more 6045 or another pump of some sort...
 
its so nice to have movement in the tank.... gunna give the snail and hermits a few days. i wanted to get a few fish as i havent seen ammonia since thurs on my tests.... i did about a 60% wc today. since i only have about 15lbs of true lr i want to add a bio load slowly.... figure if all 3 are still here on monday ill go pick up the remainder of my crabs... week later some more snails... i know most people are not a fan of crabs... i would just rather have the vast majority of my clean up crew actually on the rock and sand and not the stupid glass.. i bought a $60 cleaning magnet for a reason..... ive only seen a few aptasia in my late night prowls, and all of which's oral disks are smaller than a pencil eraser. i will deff have quite a few shrimp as well. in the past ive kept quite a few together.. 2pep,2skunk,2blood,coral banded,pistol all in the same tank (55 gal). i plan on having 2 of the skunk/pep/and blood again in this tank. and may have to find either sexys or anemone shrimp as i plan on having a rock/minimax nem area(rubble island). so far i havent seen any bristleworms yet, unfortuently.. again a great piece of your clean up crew... yeah yeah i know all the "horror" stories.... but i would still like to have a managed population (wrasses) in this tank... so if anyone happens to snare a few in a wc or if you trap them please let me know.. i would be more than happy to take them off your hands.. only a few collonista snails have been seen as well... i know they propagate quite quickly but again dissapointed in only seeing 4-5 total over the past week n a half... the overall pod population is a little bit better than the snail and bristleworm population... love watching these guys... may order some from reefs to go here over the next month. just to boost the population for the eventual red mandarin pair that i WILL aquaire.. not for any other purpose but they are one of the most beautiful things on this earth...

anyway... for my followers... sry bout the late night ramblings... i do it more for myself, than for your enjoyment. i do however hope you find yourself smiling at somepoint in this thread... as always spew whatever you feel like in this thread...
 
first coral added... pics will come when the lady gets home from work... so i can use her phone.... i really need to get an iphone


oh and its not added just yet.... floatin around in a bag in the sump
