Mystery Wrasse eat peppermint shrimp (1 Viewer)

Will my Mystery Wrasse eat my peppermint shrimp? I put some in today and the Wrasse went straight for them and now I can only find one of them.

my six line will kill shrimp 3/4 his own size...he'd prob kill bigger ones but i dont want to find out! :mad_3:

O have a six line to and it doesn't bother my mated pair of cleaner shrimp

I have five cleaner Shrimp & 2 6 line wrasse, they are doing fine.

I have a 6 line that eats peppermints and is friends with my fire shrimp.

Any fish will eat shrimp.... If opportunity is there they will kill it and eat it.

the order you add them has a huge impact on success, this was an established 6 line and new shrimp.

I've had schools of wrasses; they will surely pick your peppermint shrimp off over time; fish are always "opportunistic" when they have the right moment its going to happen; I've found cleaner shrimp are invincible to their destructive nature and often fat peppermint shrimp may last you a few months before you question where they went.
