Just wanted to say hello to everyone and to let you all know this project is back on and I will be completing this build in the very near future!! Every time I go into the theater it kills me inside to see this tank sitting there empty in the wall, I guess I miss the fish and corals too much. I sold off most of my old gear last year that I had collected for this build so I'm going to need to research and buy all new stuff again.... I will be going MH LED for lighting for sure but thats the only thing I'm sure of for now.

Did you ever end up putting water back in this thing?
LOL, I'm still working on the fish room!!! I've had a few setbacks and other hobbies I had to liquidate to get back into the saltwater stuff! I'll be collecting the rest of the gear I need soon and will have the fish room all done in the next month once my bonus get here, lol....

I'll be collecting the rest of the gear I need soon and will have the fish room all done in the next month once my bonus get here, lol....I sold off most of the old equipment (seriously regret that) so I'm slowly buying new gear but will be using my old favorite lighting (metal halide's and LED combo). Need to get basically everything over again besides the lighting plumbing and sump/tank. So much has changed equipment wise I guess it was a good thing to sell of back then as it would need to be all updated either way by now, lol.... The bar area is nearly finished and the theater is done, so the last piece is the fish room so I can reduce the humidity and keep everything clean and organized!
Awesome glad to see its going to be getting put to work

Ive also used my furnace room as a fish room with a water mixing station and a floor drain for water changes. Works awesome. Let me know if you would ever want to see pics for ideas.
It's slowly getting there! I've got most of the layout for the wall figured out now and working slowly to get it all organized and completed. Next few items on the To Do List are: Trim work and a bunch of painting on the tank wall, epoxy the floor, install a cabinet for the electronics above the sump, build the water change station, and the biggest change to the setup will be to take the tank down to drill a larger drain hole in the overflow to add a second drain....Soon we'll have water in it!
