I've got a yellow tang in quarantine with a couple bangai cardinal fish that seems to be breathing heavy with a constantly open mouth.
Is this the normal respiratory rate of a Tang or am I looking at something else that might be wrong?
Copper 2.3
In QT a week

Is the flow really high in there? Kinda seems like it's getting blown around a bit.
The breathing isn't terribly fast but also not relaxed.
How's ammonia and nitrite in the qt? What meds are you using?

Some fish do start to show intolerance to copper above 2ppm. In that case you'd want to go a different route like TTM, chloroquine phosphate, or observation.

The flow on that side is a bit heavier, but the other side of the tank is a lot less. Honestly, it seems to stay in that corner because of the reflection of itself.
