Well... aren't odyssea light fixtures the ones that start on fire?

I dont know if i'd trust the bulbs in that case...

The bulbs suck......oh and all there fixtures come with fire extinguisher so no problem there.

dont waste your money. the bulbs dont last as long as they should, the ballests(MH) say they are 250w but if you test them they only put out about 170w at best.

Don't buy them, I have 2 odyssea fixtures and they came with those and they didn't look good at all. Definatly not 14k, almost a yellow color. I recently replaced my bulbs with Phoenix bulbs and my corals look great! But I have to say I have 2 odyssea fixtures and I love them both. No problems what so ever and I have had one for about a year and one for about 5 months.

i too enjoy my odyssea fixture but the bulbs are junk. phoenix 14ks can be found anywhere from 40-50 bucks online. save your $ buy a quality bulb.

Sometimes the phoenix bulbs go on sale for about $35... just have to keep checking marine depot and hellolights for sales.
