ORA Acropora Solitaryensis (1 Viewer)

Depends on how much green paper you want in exchange for it. Are they already listed on your list?

Holy crap...nice to see my article copy and pasted into Reef Central ;) I HAVE to chuckle. Seems that it's getting far more positive reaction on RC than on RB!

Here's the original piece that was reposted as the starter to that thread thank you kindly! - http://reefbuilders.com/2010/08/30/ora-unveils-cultivar-ora-acropora-solitaryensis/

(just because I'm a fish breeder doesn't mean I can't wax poetic about a new SPS!)

Would like to see it under different lighting. Nice to see they are adding this tabling variety though!

I remember paying $75 for a pinky-nail sized piece from tyree years ago... Is this already available Clint?

Looks like an ugly brown turd to me. Maybe its a bad shot? I guess its for a different person than me.

I'll hafta check the list, if it's not on it sometimes a phone call will get them to part with some.

Nope, its a brown turd with purple tips. Similar to the larry jackson, but a really cool growth pattern.

here is a pic of it...

Haha No you didn't. PM me where you got it please.

EDIT: Nevermind I see where you got it. Im going to wait to see how it looks in your tank after a month or two. I hope it stays orange and purple!

No offense, but typical sub-par stuff ORA has been putting out lately.... There are much nicer maricultured specimens available. Given that it's a new piece, it'll probably go for $60+, which is crazy... I wonder what's ORA's "story" behind this one, another "bought from a German aquarist" ....

No offense taken. I'm just a fan of the growth pattern. Any links to a maricultured Soly or Efflo?

liveaquaria has them sporadically.... The growth form is nice, but remember that many corals will take on a different growth form in captivity....
