Today was our lucky day to to move our tank to our new place. Didn't stop enough to take a lot of pictures but i got a few none the less. For starters, it is a 25 gallon we have had set up for over a year, we upgraded from an 18 gallon we got almost 2 years ago now.

Tank: aqueon 25G high 12x21x24
Filter: CPR BakPak2 with accella pump
Lighting: 150W Phoenix 14K
Flow: MJ1200

First thing we did was bag up the frags.

Moved the liverock into buckets.

Bagged the fish, making sure to only use a net if neccessary. in this case i only had to use it once out of 5 fish and 2 shrimp.

I left about 5g in the tank to keep the sand and what little live rock i didnt take out.

Loaded it all in the back of the car and took it across town.

Decided that our old stand wasnt sturdy enough so we swapped it out for an Ikea brand fish tank stand.

When i made my rock pile i really wanted two distinct towers and a flat peice connecting them. i ended up with a nice tall cave formation. easily twice as tall as it was before. Also, i had a rock that slid really close to the glass before and it made it really hard to clean that area, so i made sure the magnet fit everywhere before i called it a day.

First fish in the tank was the watchman goby and his candy pistol shrimp.
i gave them time to roam alone and find a domicile before introducing anything else.

the clowns and the nem were last in, then i made i made a few minor changes and put my accidentally aquired acro frags somewhere i could find them tomorrow so i could glue them.

One thing, i found a polyclad flatworm in my tank. i am careful to dip everything in my tank and found only one, but this thing was HUGE! atleast 3", about the size of a bandaid. After some research i found out they can be predatory towards snails and clams.

cool deal, I wish I could do move that easy.

glad everything worked out.

From when i started bagging it took 8 hours until i was satisfied with aquascaping and acclimated all the fish.

Ill second wishing it were that easy...im not looking forward to moving the 160 and both 75 gallon tanks next month

Everything is still alive and doing well. So the move was a great success. I did manage to break one little piece off of every acro i own, but those all transplanted to frag plugs nicely.
