Wow that's awesome! Sorry, I have no advice/experience here, but that is an excellent video. Following along for sure.

Havent heard anyone before had jawfish breed in their tank. That is awesome man!!

How deep of a sand bed do you have to host those things?

Now you need to start the same thing with blue head jaw fish!

that is awesome!

catching the hatchlings may prove difficult i bet

any idea on their timing, when did you first notice them?

Thanks Riley. I first noticed this about a week ago. This tank I set up for these has a retaining wall of rocks from the middle back to the front corners. The wall is about 4" tall and filled with very small rubble and Fiji pink sand. The tank houses various dart gobies ,a mckoskers, 4 jawfish, 1 great white shark, and a dozen nassarius snails. It is a macro&liverock tank with no coral. I perform 10-20% weekly changes and it is a 75g with a single 48" t8 suspended 2 ft off the surface.

P.s. Jk about the great white shark

We can use one of my larval traps to collect fry when they hatch. I just need a couple weeks to get pods back on line and I can raise them easily. We can split the babies (assuming you want 50+ jawfish babies)

Would love to buy 6 of those babies! I read somewhere that a jawfish only lives 2 years. I am thinking of challenging that if we could get babies! Got a dedicated jawfish tank being setup soon.
