I know I haven't given an update in a couple of days but I promise you that progress is stil being made! I made a small area inside the stand to mount my electronics and mounted nearly everything where it should be. The cabling is awful looking and I need to spend some time to clean it up, but it's there. I also got my Apex unit hooked up and functioning, lights talking to the Apex, and temp/pH probes up and going. This week (most likely tomorrow) I'll start on the piece to make the stand look pretty! Once everything is up and going, I'll get off my butt and get the video I took edited and online.

One of the improvements to my system is to get the wiring more under control.
I like your aquascape also.
Are you planning on having tabling acros or montis filling out the towers?

Thanks jlanger! It's been a long road so far, but I'm happy to see progress.
That was something I debated long and hard. It does look a bit empty in the middle there, however I planned on putting a fair amount of branching LPS in that area (Duncans, Euphyllia, etc), and on the flat areas in the middle some softies (zoa's, larger paly's). On the towers I was thinking some easier SPS like birdsnest and monties. That plan may change 20 times before my cycle ends, but I'll have something in the middle to add dimension to the whole thing.
I haven't fallen off the planet, don't worry! Real life has been busy lately so I haven't had time to update stuff. I've got fish and a couple corals in the tank right now and everything is healthy. I'll be at the frag swap coming up and I'll be stocking up on some more fun colorful things for the tank!
