How often do you feed?

A very important thing to gaining success when working with a difficult to keep species is feeding upwards of 5x per day, especially if the fish is small. I just lost a 2.5" multibar angelfish because I only fed 4x a day, it still starved. After discussing the loss with Kevin Kohen, he noted that I should be feeding another 4-6x a day until the fish is eating a wide variety of foods without issue. Of course, each feeding is not large. Just enough for the fish to eat in about a minute or less with nothing going uneaten.

Multibars are really difficult to keep. Potters biggest issue to my understanding is they need cooler water temps, not surprising for a Hawaii fish. Many fish which require cooler temps do ok for a bit then drop dead.

I've had a potters for a few months, hope he does well for the long term. Cool fish
