I will be ordering coral from a place to get new stock for growing out. Tank grown, but...they're Biosecurity is not the best.
Coral is grown completely outdoors with natural sunlight, and supplemented with leds and halides in the winter.
very hardy stuff. the Farm area is about the equivlient of a large dog kennel with a tarp on the roof to stop rain and debris from landing in the tanks.
Plan is to dip and hold in a fallow, but established system for a few days, and ship out. Keeping a few things for future grow-out. I will have alot going on in March-May, so I won't be doing any "QT to order" type thing with these.
I will at a minimum, dip, hold for 13 days, dip again, and in theory, that should handle AEFW. I will be planning to dip every 2 days because you can't guarantee every FW is on the coral, and nobody really knows the lifecycle of other pest, like white, black and grey bugs.
A lot of other stuff, but nothing too spectacular. Won't be a huge rush to get these out, but also do not want to be holding orders for weeks and weeks.
