Anyone ever try doing this or tested the water to see what the contamination load looks like? We are filling up ours with gallons a day right now and occurred to me that maybe running through a DI unit is all that’s needed.

Thoughts?

Interesting thought. I’ll send some off in that freshwater ICP from you in hopes they process it before they close the doors.

I've never done it because most dehumidifiers use copper tubing to collect the water.

What do you mean 'close their doors'?
 
How are people going to get broad spectrum water testing done now?
 
There’s 10 others companies that offer ICP testing. Triton, ATI, Fauna Marin, etc.
 
I have two freshwater ones sitting here if anyone wants them.
