Update-

Cyano is now gone. Bryopsis is back.. no idea what caused it to start growing again, I didn't even stop dosing magnesium but its sprouting up all over my rock. Starting to wish I would have just bought a new rock (still sort of an option but its not easy finding a rock like this that'll fit in the top of a fluval edge...) Looks like the dosing continues... might need to put the urchin back in for daily maintenance...

I had JUST got the edge out of my mind when you go and bump your thread...dang you Tony!

Looking good man. What is the green coral on the rock about your frogspawn?

Haha,

its a rock flower anemone. got it up in duluth a couple weeks ago.

nice color, hasn't moved since I stuck it there, doesn't cause trouble.

i'll still be following along. What i dont see there will surely be all over your facebook. holla when ya hear me.

I guess I will just have to pester you about helping me build a nano through nanoreef, facebook, or text message

I don't know what you were thinking saying you were going to go somewhere else.

Lol... well, i had my reasons, which i don't think I should go into publicly.

Nano-reef has always seemed like a cool site though and I really do want to start being more active on there, since there's just a ton more nano related stuff

I take back what I said about leaving though, I wasn't thinking clearly... Lol

FWIW I think it's smart not to go publicly with it.

Nano-Reef is the only other forum I'm on in relation to reef aquariums and I really like it. In addition to having a bigger population of people who are excited and supportive of new "unproven" equipment trials and a younger overall crowd, they also focus on small systems. A while back they were a really harsh forum to be on but these days you get more supporters than harsh critics. I haven't really been very active as far as posting on there but I have some "friends" on the forum who I PM back and forth a lot.

if you are talking about me, i didnt know that 5 or 6 sentences would change your mind. Glad it did buddy.

Lol, yeah, I was , It wasn't ever really that I WANTED to leave, its just been a rough couple weeks around here for me and everyone else who's gotten themselves involved in this whole feedback forum mess.

Just good to know I still have friends around here...

Oh, and an update to the fluval- I think i'll be starting twice-weekly water changes in the fluval and frag tank to deal with water quality in hopes of getting rid of this hair/bryopsis
