I haven't heard or seen anything regarding Patula Punch, either there are very few around or since Aussie shipments started there are just too many more exotic ones to choose from now.

Update to an old thread.

I thought I had lost this coral but found a teeny tiny fluorescent coming from an old plug when cleanup up my frag tank. I've been growing it out for a year but it's still less than dime sized.

This coral has been retired since 2008 so really hoping to revive this thing. It has a whole new color under LEDs. Primarily orange with green.

Responding growing well, progress shot from Nov to Apr. Large enough now the camera can focus better. Past nickel size, approaching the size of a quarter, It was about dime sized or smaller in the last picture.

Almost completely recovered back to the size it was in 2007, only exception a little corner that got stung from an acan.

Have you ever been to the actual Reef Farmers Facility- ? I thought that was located in TX, near Irving somewhere? Have heard a lot about the Steve Tyree legend....always trying to learn more about his methodology

The edges have started to grow downward and not long disk like flat. So I made my first two frags of it. Will see if they make it. Perhaps can start spreading/reviving this coral at least locally.

You don't see anything on forums or google regarding it anymore since Tyree retired it in 2008. I don't know if that means it's rare or just no interest or demand now that boobie this and alien that named corals are around.
