Hello-

Finally got the clearance to make the meeting this Saturday (hoping there is still time to sign up) so I thought I better say hi. Grew up with numerous freshwater tanks going and usually one saltwater. Dabbled with a small reef tank about 12 years ago but didn’t have the resources to keep it going. About a year ago I got the bug to start up again so I first worked to find a tank (wanted and found a 92 corner). Plan was to set up just a FOWLR but some how I found myself with a few frags in the tank and there was no turning back. I have learned a lot in a short time and definitely hit some bumps along the way. I utilized information from this group as well as other forums and my lfs store. Hoping to meet some others with the passion. I did make the spring frag swap but didn’t know anyone there and was a bit overwhelmed by the number of people!

Tank is composed of a mix reef and it has been pretty rewarding to to see many of the corals growing!

Thanks everyone! As I am sure you all know, it takes a lot of moving around to figure out how just to place everything. I started out with just two arches and ended up adding a third just because there were a lot more corals I wanted. Now to watch them grow!!

And Tonkadaddy, the 92 corner is definitely an interesting tank. It works fantastic in a small corner but it sure was not easy figuring out how to fit a sump underneath, getting wave makers set up for good current and then lighting! Tough area to cover effectively without breaking the bank. It has been a lot of fun though!!
