Very weird indeed. I remember reading about this rare phenomenon years ago (in the freshwater world) and IIRC they are basically doomed once they do this because of damage done to their muscles and "lung." I do not believe anyone was able to link this to a specific problem or event.

Unfortuntately, they will most likely die soon.

you might want to remove them from your tank cause when snails die they release toxins into the water. even though you are still cycling its best to not deal with the toxins.

Are the snails this happened with all from the same store, purchased at the same time? Just wondering if its possible that it's a genetic defect of sorts.

The nassarius are from live aquaria, the turbo may have been also from live aquaria or some other lfs, I have purchased them from many places.
