Are you new to TCMAS?
Never been to a meeting?
Want help setting up your tank?

We have started a new program to pair you up with a “Sponsor” (one of the more experienced club members). This gives new members a mentor that can give them more personal attention in helping them properly setup their setup or just introduce them to other members at meetings. If you would like to take part in this program send one of the Moderators a PM and we will get you setup with a sponsor in your local area. Since we do have many young hobbiest out there I ask that you be 18yrs+ or have a parent present to participate in this program (for liability and safety reasons).

Welcome to TCMAS!

Also, best if can be paired up with someone in your local area.

Being a mentor that can't stop by doesn't work well.

Is there anybody in the chaska area willing to help out a newb in need. Unfortunately I wont be able to make the meeting this weekend as I will be out of town for the week. Assuming that my girlfriend doesnt kill everything in my tank while I am gone I would be up for a sponsor

I'll see who's in the area and get back to you.

Who's going to adopt me? I mean I am already house broken!

I am up to help out the newbies!

I thought we already adopted you??? I have a thing about taking in strays incase you haven't noticed.... lol

I would be happy to sponsor a newb. I am just south of Lakeville if there is someone in the south metro that needs help.

This is a great program Glen. I wish there was something like this back in the day.

This is an awesome idea! Wish it was around when I started - I still feel like a newbie, not really sure that I know what I'm doing most of the time ;)

I'm in St. Cloud and would be willing to sponsor, but there are a few much more knowledgable people in this area (maybe one of them would adopt me ).

Im Jace and i guess Ill take a Mentor Im in Plymouth shoot me a pm to be my mentor :D

I'm Ken. I am not a total newbie, but can always learn more. I live in Edina. would love to get some good quality mentor advice.

Ditto these. Maybe we should start a support group for us not new, not experienced, and somewhat insecure reefers...
