STRAY VOLTAGE HELP!! (1 Viewer)

It may or may not pop and you may or may not see an immediate noticeable effect. It could show up later or get worse.

If it is coming and going when you put the ground probe in its not a cut on your hand. It's a bad piece of equipment likely with a broken seal. This means it could leach who knows what into the water too. Worst case - it lights off one day when you aren't around.

Find the bad piece of equipment and replace it.

I have been trying to and still cant find the cause the only place I feel it is a cut but not all the time and its so light I wounder if its the salt in the cut some times. is there a real way to check one piece of equipment at a time with a multimeter or some thing because I have not found it yet. Or dose anyone know what milliamp ac is normall (ie current) maybe check your own tank and let me know that way I have something to compare too I listed my readings at the beginning of tye post

Thanks everyone

I think I remember reading somewhere that .001 was too much. Try this, take some water out of the tank in a container and dip your finger in it, if you feel the same thing, it was your finger, if you don't, then it is something in your tank.

Ok so I checking thinkings out I removed both maxi jets for good due to not trusting them, I also took millamp readings with just the return and protein skimmer on I feel nothing and my reading is 0 ma when I start plugging in other pumps and or heaters it go up by 0.01ma but does not go higher than 0.03-0.04ma no matter whats plugged in any order. Two heaters are, new and the other equipment is out of my smaller tank I just tore down and had no problems.
I am at my wits end I have no idea.

ok so i did a little test I took out every pump and heater and placed them in a bucket of tank water by them self and let them run, my finding where when one item is in the bucket by it self i get 0ma no matter if heater or pump but when i start add more pumps and or heater it goes up slightly an example is 1-2 korila power heads is 0ma but when adding a third one i get 0.01ma and adding a forth one i get 0.02ma add three heaters and I get another 0.02ma now where at 0.04 ma, now no of these have the third prong in the plug for the ground and is it possible that is why I am getting a reading
