I was thinking of swapping out my TidePool II for this Amiracle sump I came across...
I have read enough to know that bio-balls are not the best option for corals. So I pull those out and then what? Should I put some live rock in there? Ideally I'd like to get some sort of refugium going. I also have a 20L that I could use as a sump if I could use this Amiracle sump as the refugium some how. Not sure I could fit all that in the stand but I am just brainstorming.
What do you think?
Also, could I attach a filtersock to the output here and have the sock lay on the trickle tray? Or just let it flow through without the tray? That will get noisy, no?
Thanks!
