Well I changed the 57 rimless to a 120 Fatboy. Mr Bill, Chad and Laurie were kind enough to come over one Saturday morning and help with the move. Most of this is contained in different threads I just wanted a single location for updates.

For this tank I have gone with Aqua Illuminations LED Sol Blue units and Geo 618 calcium reactor.

I designed the sump and then had Trigger systems manufacture it for me. the reactors are all reef octopus 1 Biopellet, 1 carbon (Rox8) and 1 High capacity GFO. I am using an Apex controller and a Bubble King Mini 160 skimmer. The UV is an emperor Aquatics HO 50W unit, ATO Tunze. All plumbing is SH 80 and the returns are Herbie method.

The return pump is a Ocean Runner 6500. In Tank flow is fron two Tunze 6105's with 6205 housings for broader flow and two 6055 units.
There are two filter socks which are changed daily.

Current water parameters.
1.025
Alk 8.0
Cal 400
Mg 1400
PO4 .01
Nitrate 2.5

Wow, beautiful tank!

That is a lot of flow... I have a 120 as well with two 6105's with the 6205 shrouds and have to keep my flow very low to not upset the lps.

Would you mind sharing your programming/schedule for the Tunzes?

Chris

I rarely push mine over 50% too.

The only difference between mine and yours appears to be that I have more flow during the day and less at dawn/dusk and overnight, otherwise they're very similar.

your sump/plumbing alone is amazing. Those glass doors are actually serving a purpose on your system!

Very well done, cant wait till i cant get my 120 running again. Some day :bigw:

Opps forgot the Bellus she is still there :)

Did you end up getting that gem on RC? With all these rare fish your collecting, you could charge admission. I'd pay! :) I wish I could have seen it when I grabbed that reactor the other day. Totm?

Yes I oversized the return pump and T off to feed the reactors

It's friday must be wash day :)
