Ryan stupid question is Slide Loc now AvidAqua
Not a dumb question, was waiting to clarify after the rush. Slide-Loc fasteners will continue to exist separately but will be marketed to a much wider net than aquariums.

The Slide-Loc racks, holders, and associated legalities have moved into the new company AvidAqua.

Initial salvo was a launch of, notable improved versions, many of my prior devices.

Salvo 2/3 will extend into/create other saltwater aquarium categories under AvidAqua.

Thanks Ryan I was wondering as well.

Do you have any other retail partners such as Premium Aquatics? And safe to assume we’ll still find your products at New Wave?

I'm not sure about anyone else locally yet other then New Wave. They've always been a great supporter.

The timing of everything coming in was down to the minute so I've only physically had time to get to the three online so far but expect that to change in a week or so.

That's why the site has a few lower priority pages not completed yet, I'm also not selling direct for the foreseeable future outside of perhaps supporting parts.

Currently trying to get 4 more critical devices immediately to market. 2 of which require considerable effort to get right.

This is good news for the evolution of the company! I watched the video and Terrance said BRS , Salt water Aquarium, and TSA it will be available. Good to hear we can buy them locally at NWA as well.

Got my Wyze cam mount. Here's a lengthwize video without the closeup lens and the tank lights off.

This is one thing I have been thinking about doing for at least two years now. I saw the product offering and just about bought it. This video just made me purchase two of them. Guess I will see how they work next week after delivery.

Here's the one I took yesterday, neptune sky lights on sky settings. Video downgraded some after running through my software so I'll need to change that.

Loved seeing your emperor peak out.
And of course right after I stopped the recording he swam right up to the camera. I need to try one with the SKY in photo mode and see how that looks. I'm going to leave the close up lens off. With a 6' tank too much is out of focus with it on, but when a fish swims up to the cam the close up lens really makes them sharp.

Figuring things out today. Will try to see how this looks with conversions and compression. I need to figure out how others make it easy. Suppose uploading to youtube would help.

Through the app I can see both tanks live. That is kind of neat. Maybe after things open up a bit later when the light schedule comes on I can try feeding some nori and try again. Here is just a screenshot of the app.

Seems like you both get a better bit rate than I do. Are you recording directly to the camera or through the app and recording to your phone or computer?

Alternatively I may need to set my camera priority higher on the router.

In my experience, videos uploaded directly to the forums are not viewable via mobile web browsers. That’s why I go the YouTube/Flickr route. On a computer it should be viewable though.

I recorded through the app. It saved a file right to my phone.

Were you able to see the video I posted? The app saved an mp4 which you cannot upload (needs to be .mov). I uploaded the video to some random internet converter, changed resolution and format to .mov. The huge downside is the video can only be about 15 seconds max before you run into size restrictions.
