Ok, I had to be out of town for 4 days due to a death in the family. I knew the raccoon was nipping, but didn't realize how bad till I got home. My frogs, torch, zoas were decimated. The frogs did fare better, there is till flesh on each of the heads, the torch... not so well, I think there is a small bit of flesh on 2 heads, 1 still has some polyps, the 4th head looks all but picked clean. As for my new zoa frags, all gone.

Has anyone had frogs and torches recover from this much damage? I'll try to get some photos.

I did happen to get the raccoon out of the tank after pulling it half apart. Traded him for a sebae anemone to replace the one he killed. Also got a couple of serpent stars thrown in as well. Was a great deal. Will just have to see how much the corals recover.

I had a gold maroon clown do damage to a frogspawn and hammer, although I don't think quite as bad as you. They made a full recovery. Hopefully yours turn out the same.

I have a frog spawn that I messed up and it was down to a single tentacle. Since then it has grown back to almost a full head and seems to be doing fine now.

So, there is some hope.

That's great, I looked at them closer today and it looks like there is some degree of flesh or tentacles on all the heads, hopefully they will come back full. I know it will take a little bit. Now I'll just have to get some new zoa frags to fill in for the ones I lost.
