I have been using this salt for a little over a month now and my corals really seem to love this stuff. Just wondering if others are using it and if so how it's working for them. Jeremy:biggthumpup:

I am using the pro reef salt. I like the results so far but I haven't been using it very long.

I have used nothing but IO reef crystals in all my years (about 10). Have had very good luck with it, and corals keep a thicker skeleton. It also contains trace elements and vitamins.

Jake from discovery aquatics recommended it and so far it is the greatest, just don't like the price.

I don't know if they need them but they sure do like them.:biggthumpup:

It's about a dollar a trace element, maybe a little more but it seems to outperform the others i have used.

got a question for ya. do you think it is overkill to do a 10 gallon water change weekly on a 55 gallon tank with a 20 gallon refugium?

coralife and instant ocean. someone told me that they make all these american brand salts at the same factory, just name it different. Don't know if it is true.

yea, 10 gals is more than enough, but it also depends on what you are trying to accomplish

Some very good coral growth would be nice, Also no hair algae would be nice to.

well, then if you want coral growth then id do bigger and more frequent water changes as for the H. Algae get a small tang or lawnmower blenny those will take care of it!
