Okay, I just went through two pairs of tweezers. They are stainless steel with a protective coating. After each use, I rinse them with water, but they are still rusted at the joint and fall apart.
I need a good recommendation for a pair of tweezers mainly used for feeding to keep the hand out of the tank.

I have had them for quite awhile and not had any issues. I have bought SS ones from Amazon but eventually they will rust.
 
Stainless steel is not all created equal. 304 is cheaper but will corrode with enough time, 316 is generally corrosion resistant, but more expensive and harder to weld (hence you pay more for tweezers or other tools with parts welded together).
