In this area the GHA is receding
Overall I have clearer water but the algae is hanging on. i will continue to dose twice a week until I go through the bottle I bought at the swap. If I see any difference happening I'll take a pic and post in this thread.

The algae on my rocks was getting bad, and now it is dead and sloughing off, so I know it works well.

I picked up a bottle at the swap and have dosed 1ml/10gal twice so far. I haven't had to clean my glass yet which normally I do do every few days. I have it in two systems so far. In one system the skimmer is almost full for the third time this week. This skimmer can be a little erratic so I can't make any hard conclusion from this but it seems to be way more than usual. My second system the skimmer hasn't filled up hardly at all since dosing started. I'm not sure what that means but it makes me curious. I haven't noticed a reduction in algae in either system but I also don't see it increasing. I wasn't really expecting to see anything happen the first few weeks so time will tell.
I have 4 more tanks to go so I hope to get good idea of how it works in different setups with different problems, including a couple without skimmers.

1ml per 10g and I have a 20g tank

I bought some vibrant aquarium cleaner. Read several people having luck with GHA with that stuff. Dosed 3 times in the last two weeks. Load and behold!
I dont know what algae or chemical they have in that bottle but the GHA started to die off. After approx 2 wks, most of the GHA was off the rocks. I did a water change, skimmed off the rest of the GHA. I just have couple strands here and there but most of the GHA is gone from rocks. Oddly enough, some of the GHA or shorter algae on other hard surfaces like glass and some PVC did not die off. Had to scrap that stuff off. Chaeto in sump also did not die. So it is some odd stuff.
