I had just installed my two way water changer system, a litermeter III, with remote pump module. I have a 30 gallon tank (didn't feel like waiting for an acrylic so just got a glass) that I am using as my saltwater reservoir (need to get a glass or acrylic top to prevent evaporation).
Currently my AC3 program is this for the top off of freshwater.
OSC 010/050 ON/OFF Then H20 ON
If SwitchA3 CLOSED Then H20 OFF
If SwitchA3 OPEN Then LOW ON // my Dummy Timer so I know when switch is open or closed
If SwitchA3 CLOSED Then LOW OFF
If pH > 08.60 Then H20 OFF
However, with the litermeter I am going to have it replace about a gallon of water per day (should yield just over 10% water change by volume over a 7 day period).
My LM3 is connected to my AC3 (I feel I have more control via this way), but how do I prevent the ATO from going on when the LM3 is taking out 100ml of water at a time?
Would it be beneficial for me to estimate over a 12 hr period how much the LM3 would take out, then have the AC3 turn it off and then switch over to account for the evaporated water?
What would you guys do?
