I have been pondering it over and over and I want to hide certain aspects of equip. inside my tank. heaters, pumps, etc. I have seen thos black half moon covers in drilled tanks but dont know if that would work. and or where to get them.
Help my ocd is going crazy!

Those are called overflows and hide plumbing that goes down into a seperate tank refered to as a sump, a sump holds equipment like; heaters, skimmers, reactors, etc.

Don't you run a sump to hide the heaters? As for pumps, all depends on your aquascape. One of my PH's is hidden behind the live rock. Maybe look at investing in ecotech MP10/40/60 wavemaker... Very small footprint in tank. motor is outside of tank, and looks very stylish compared to classic powerheads.

A Sump or AIO box would hide your stuff but for aio tank needs to be empty for you to silicon it in. You could do a hob overflow into a sump and not drain your tank. And for the pump/wavemakers just get a ecotech mp10/mp40/mp60 to have a minimal look.

I run a 33 long with no sump. And for hiding equimp i put my heater on the back wall and set it on its side all the way down on the bottom of the tank. Then did my aquascape close to it to hide it. I have the wires run up the back corner. In the same corner I have my heater probe. And I use a hob filter and keep that next to the wires. Now I have covered the back of the tank with a dark blue and that helps camo the wires. Now for the pump, kind of a toss up. I keep the pump towards the top of the tank. I use 2 hydor nanos on one side of the tank and they are nice and small. But the maxi I use on the other side is bulky. I have a gorg close to it to mask it and it helps. I found keeping things in the back corner of the tank seem to help the most, can build the rock work up in those areas and hide most all things.
