Whats a good camera for corals? (1 Viewer)

If there are particular things you'd like explained more just ask. As you can see some of us like to talk about cameras and lenses.

I realize though that if too much of this is going over your head you might not know what to ask!

You hit the nail on the head. I bought this camera for my wife and im trying to learn stuff for her so i can try and help her with the camera. She got free classes to nation camera, so i think that will help as for a starter. But as she moves forward I will remember your offer. Thanks. I think im going to start with this lense for her (AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G) and see how it goes. Also looking at some add on flashes. But that might have to wait till Christmas. She has been able to take some awesome pics so far. And she seems to be having fun, and that's all that matters.:biggrin:

There is a really good book that helped me a lot when I was starting. Understanding Exposure if she doesn't already have it i would recommend it.

Folks (including some really experienced photographers) on some of the Flickr photography forums also recommend this book highly.
