I got into saltwater in the spring of 2008 with a 29 gal softy tank. In Feb of2010 I upgraded to a 72gal bowfront mixed reef. Then in Sept of 2010 I did my upgrade to my current tank a 180gal SPS tank. I think it might be time to upgrade again. Oh yeah wife said I could not upgrade again, so I thought I would just set up another tank in my 17 year old sons room, 40b set up. Just picked up the light for it the other night. I still have my 1st saltwater fish I got, a clownfish from my 29 gal.

I've kept aquariums since I was about 10. I've kept freshwater and got really into planted aquariums for a long time before I got into saltwater. I started a 10 gallon saltwater back in 2004, but that was short lived due to me moving.

I didn't get back into it until I started my little 2.5 gallon about 2 years ago. That's right, my first reef was a 2.5 gallon! I had great success with that tank, and since then I had a minibow 7, 16 gallon bowfront, and currently a biocube 14. Once I move once more, hopefully my last, I will set back up the 16 gallon, keep the biocube, and maybe start a frag tank.

Well I got into the hobby about 3 years ago and started out with a 7g picco. I then moved to a 12g JBJ, then a 29g, then a 29g biocube, then a 75g, then to a Red sea Max, then to a rimless 15g. Now, I still have the RSM and the 29g biocube. I have a 30L that's been up for about 7 months, it houses 2 Percula Clownfish (Waddles and Marlin), 1 Lawnmower Blenny (Charley), 1 Sandsifting Starfish (Sidney), 1 Turbo snail, 1 Margarita snail, 1 astraea snail, 2 pencil sea urchins, and countless bristle-worms. I am in the process of accumulating the equipment for the empty 75G tank sitting in my living room, so look for that build thread when I finally post it.
