My wife god bless her puts up with my ideas and has stuck by me in my adventure into saltwaters. Its getting to the point where she is telling me how to run my aquarium, what I can and cant put in it, whether fish or coral. You know what that means....... TIME TO GET HER A NANO so im left alone.... :) Picked up a 4 gallon finnex pre-drilled from clownnut.
With new bulk heads plan on optimizing my spare cascade canister with carbon/poly/chemi pure elite

She loves shrimp. I purchased a cleaner shrimp about a week ago and its just gone. No idea
any other ideas on new inhabitants?

Things left on list
Heater
Beamworks led nano light
and a awesome "hutch" design i found on a boston reef forum

Do a few sexy shrimp, they're very small, they're often seen during the day out in the open and they do well in a group

Wait - you have a heater on your list to get

Does that mean you dont have a heater on her tank?

Agreed, perfect tank for sexy shrimp, they are totally entertaining to watch to and will host in any coral.

Cory thats the stand I talked to you about. Pretty neat idea

Ordered her heater and a 3w led hang on beamswork light tonight. need to get here so she can have her hammer coral frag :rotflmao:

Very cool tank, I remember when li plumbed that to his system! I hate to break it to you but 3watts of LEDs will not support lps, even in that shallow finnex tank. I know beams works makes some more high powered clamp style fixtures that will work better. Sexy shrimp and a little clown goby would be cool in there.

My brother runs the same light. Has some duncans, zoas, and bambams. Seems to be working for him so I did the same.

Those are low light coral compared to others.... But I'm glad its working out, should be a nice setup for you.

I get where your coming from. Its just a simple setup for her so
She will leave mine alone lol

Its always good when the wife enjoys the hobby. $$$$$are fun to spend when you don't have to worry about the misses! If you ever want a DIY made LMK, we can make one fairly cheap.

if i get this sump going i can get that hob skimmer under the tank and had a idea on a floating hutch for my breeder.... to much free time to think lol
