I have some bristle worms at least I think they are bristle in my tank that I haven't thought much about. A couple month ago a maxim clam that I had died and I saw the worms in its shell the day I found it. I figure they just found an easy meal. Then last night I tried a flame scallop and it was dead this morning three worms right there. So are these worms bivalve murdering @#&*$!

Where can you get the bristle worm traps?

Bristle worms are opportunistic scavengers. They are part of your cleanup crew and were just doing their job...

In other words. The worms didnt kill the clams, they were just enjoying the free meal after the clams were dead.

Yep, didn't take mine long to move into the clam that didn't make it through the freshwater dip.

There are many many species of polychaete worms. There are in fact some species that are specialist bivalve predators. However, the most likely large polychaetes for you to encounter in your tanks are probably the scavenging types of fireworms, so your clam and oyster probably died first and then were found by the worms.
