Zoa ID - help appreciated (1 Viewer)

I've had these zoas for a long time now and cannot remember any of their names, or if they are actually considered valuable or not. The only one that I do remember is zoa5. I was told those were PPE's. Other than that, would love to know what I have. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Paul

Dont know that I agree with AOG on #8 dude - at least mine do not look like that FWIW

Had no idea thats what I had in my tank if indeed PPE's!! :biggthumpup:

BTW dude - where is the pic of your Wild Purple Hornets? Oh yeah - I still have them - lol ; )

PPE's you can tell by the mouth color, True people eaters(any kind) have green mouths

That cannot be right - that means that somehow I have like 15 heads of them in my tank and have no idea how they got there - I know I didnt pay the $$ for PPE's

Will post pics this weekend

BTW - if they are PPE's - THEY LOVE MY TANK! Then again - so do Captain America's.....
 
The ones in the center of #3 appear to be some sort of candy apple morph. Possible candy apple pinks that aren't getting enough light. Those can be very nice if you can color them up and get the pinks to come out.

1 and 4 are Protopalythoa sp and are basically just miscellaneous. Common name for them in cinnamon polyps, button polyps, etc. Colors/shades can vary.

For 8, they are basically an AOG morph, but I am leaning towards Devil's Armor. I can kind of see the bat insignia on the polyps, which would be the differentiating factor. Regular AOG's have no ring or significant pattern at all; just solid pink. Of course lighting can play a role in how distinct any of these patterns are.

#2 it's hard to tell what the colors are supposed to be, but from what I can see they appear to be a wild colony of unnamed/nondescript zoas.
 
I really like those blue ones, even if they don't have a cool name. Thinking of fragging any of these? I would be interested in some blue ones :biggrin:
 
By the way, I'm going to be selling all these and a bit more. I'm finishing my basement and putting in built-in 120g inside my wall. In the process, I'm going to be selling a lot of my corals.

I'll be doing a FS thread soon, but if anyone is interested in these zoas, PM me.
