Finally ordered my new tank and hopefully it will arrive in the next week or so. I went with the Oceanic 215 gal Ultimate. More to follow :)

Went with the factory light oak stand and going to have a custom canopy made. Lighting is going to be 3x250 DE MH with the Lumen Bright 3 reflectors and, 2x96w PC actinics. Skimmer is the Octupus extreme 300. I am going to use a 75 gal feed tub I got from Fleet Farm for the sump.

Thanks Ray I may take you up on that. If you are still interested in any of the zoas I have let me know. I am not going to put any in the new tank. It is going to be mostly SPS and LPS a few select leathers, and some really nice fish. No zoas or mushrooms this time.

I know how you feel about zoas and mushrooms (Spreads like wildfire). Its time for a change, lol. I'm only going for primetime zoas, but my next setup will be a mostly LPS as well. I do have quite a bit of supplies and equipments (no plumbing, but everything else). various pumps, airtubes, test kit, tanks/tubs, temp T5 lights, heater, etc.

Exactly. I have lost some nice SPS to those darn things. I even had to take one of my clams out and scrub off the zoas that had started growing on it.

Already have the stool :) I have to use one when I work in the bottom of the 92.

Still thinking about that. The reflectors are 9" deep so I figure it will need to be around 18" plus tall. If it will work maybe one that is split down the middle so the entire front and half the top flip back when it is open. With a canopy this big I wont be removing it very often.

That is really cool. I actually thought about using a cable pulley type thing, but didnt think of using an electric motor. Maybe add that later after the bank account recovers fromeverything else I been buying

Another Idea is to have an "Open Top" Canopy. My original plan for my 180g was a 24 in. open top with cabinets so I can just open to get into it rather than lifting it off. Of course my lights would be hanging from the ceiling, also this way all 3 reflectors are height adjustable (one could be higher or lower for certain corals) and the reflectors would be covered by the canopy being 18-24in. high.

Wow, it's late I'm typing broken english
