I'll post a FTS here from time to time. Don't mind the cyano and other junk, the tank is having a mini cycle since I moved over a lot of the rock that used to be in the other tank to the sump. It kicked up a lot of detritus that was in the rocks and I think there is some die off due to the lack of light in its new home.

We had a long talk it decided it was better than the sushi wrapper.

The rock is pretty much flat so I just stuck it there.

How close is that middle pillar to the water line? From the pics it looks like an inch at most. I really like all the pink zoas you have.

Very Nice, what pumps are those that your using, the magnetic wireless ones? how do you like them?

Originally, we intended for it to stick out, but now it is just barely under. If a big snail crawls on it, their shell sticks out.

I've got some of those zoas for sale. The ones on the left are the light pinks which almost look metallic in this tank. The ones on the right are dark pinks.

The pumps are MP10's. So far I really like them. The only part I don't like is the giant wart on the side of the tank and cleaning around the cord.

Very nice looking tank! I like my MP10 as well, although I'm having trouble getting it calibrated properly for disconnection, do you do that calibration on your pumps or just let them run if they get separated?

I haven't bothered trying to set that up. I don't see the harm in letting the motor spin without the wetside near by. Maybe it would spin a little faster from the reduced load?

I like running them on random modes and have setup the night mode.

Yeah I guess that was my assumption that they might spin faster and overheat or something, maybe that's not the case. Although with the amount of trouble I'm having getting it calibrated I may just reset the thing and not do it. I like the reef crest mode the most so far.

I like the lagoon better, I get a more natural swaying with it. The reef crest just knocks the corals around. I do like both modes over a constant speed or pulse though.

Finally, we get pics Well worth the wait, Matt. There is a Zen balance to your aquascape which is often tried but rarely achieved. Your vertical height adds balance to the horizontal lines, and you have also managed to impart a sense of depth or 3-dimensionality without making it seem contrived or artificial. And the photo shows excellent technical merit.
