i thought about that ray... but i could see my youngest pulling them off if he were to grab the edge... if i ran a big strip of velcro down a stand support i "think" it would stay up

so luke is stopping over tonight hes bringing a camera, i have everything taped out so you can see dimensions physically as well as get an idea of how it will be plumbed :) and ill make sure one of the fuges is in the picture

so pester luke all night until he posts the pictures

Why not move the display tank over just a "skosh" so that the edge is lined up with the NPS? To me it seems kind of random and in the way where it is now. You'd have more walking space if you moved it over I think.

alunai, There is a door to the left that you cant see
Also, the stand will have a lip which will be wide enough to butt right up to the door frame

There will also be a wall added behind the DT between the NPS tank

Clint can answer any other questions

I"m pretty sure he's going to attempt to be getting a bunch of us over before it's setup...Gotta get that beast in somehow, and what good are a bunch of reef friends if not for their labor?!

I can't wait to see this thing setup, and the fish and corals you will have in there are going to be awesome!

YAY!!! PICTURES!!!!!

luke awnsered it

that thing's HUGE!

I might have to come over for a snorkel sometime after you have it all up and running

snorkel... no, help carry it into the house... yes....

yes food and bevrages will be provided, when the day comes to move it into the house.... as far as corals go... only the best.... or only the ones that will fit onto the credit card

I see no space marked off with a big "B" for "Breeding"????

ahhh while i do wish to replicate as much of a natural environment as possible, and would love to have breeding fish of diferent species, i really have no desire to raise any fry... not yet anyway.. but i suppose that can change depending on what if anything breeds.. but like i stated my main goal is to provide beautiful fish an enviroment that is as close to natural as possible and hope to see more natural behivors in return....

wood frame with smoked plexiglass... easily attaches with velcro to the wood and keeps the kids out of the stand... and it has a really nice modern look to it...

hey before you build there stand frame or anything like that you should look at a few things i have been brain storming for my 150 that i won't be doing because i wont have a fish room =( but i think they would work for you. (also i'm not trying to sell any labor or parts or nothing. just give you the ideas for free!)
