55g turn-around (1 Viewer)

I smell scope creep.

You are doing well with this tank now, keep up the good work. Just buy the algae in a bag for a little while and keep your focus where it is.

Well everything is doing good now. (for about 1 week all my softies must've been shedding their skin at the same time).

My pulsing xenia is definitely the focal point currently. Everyone LOVES it. :agree:

I really like the 2nd photo, however since you have an rodi, why is ur waterline always so low?

Looks good, yellow tang looks happy! Watch the Jedi mind tricks, this ain't your standard lighting anymore and that is pretty close to the top of the tank.

Its actually a lot farther down than you think. Its just because of the low water-level and the angle I'm shooting the picture.

Further down relative to the glass, but light intensity doesn't really go down until it has to penetrate through water...therefore if the tank were full the intensity would better, IMO still a little high regardless. Just keep an eye on it

Looking good. You must be happy your tank is finally coming together.

I believe your birds nest is "birds of paradise".

Don't worry about the monti. It will grow back pretty quick.

I second this motion. Birds of paradise. They have sweet purple color. Give it a few weeks and it will look really sweet

Well I think it's time for an update since quite a bit has happened.

With the Black Clownfish, Yellow Tang and Red Headed Goby getting sick, I had to go on biking marathon to various pet stores to get everything I need. I am pleased to say that the Yellow Tang and Clownfish are back in the tank and have made a full recovery. Sadly the Red Headed Goby didn't make it :( but I have saved most the fish for now.

Everything is starting to show growth now, except for 1 coral that isn't doing so hot.

FTS (Yes, I know the water level is low)

Maroon Pavona, you can see the growth along the rim. Its polyps extend a lot farther than I thought...

Just moved him to bottom right (left of Acan but right of Kenyan Tree). I think it was probably the light and being right in front of the powerhead.

Provided the other Sps came back better than ever, I think given time it should come back with proper care.
