Man you've had a rough start.

Looking nice now though.

Not to be nosy, but what happened to the overflow box?

I don't think its all that uncommon that the overflows are not completely water tight. All you have to do is add a stand pipe and the tank water will only drain down to the top of the pipe. Its also quieter because the water doesn't fall as far.

#1 - It will destroy your surface skimming ability

#2 - If you shut off your return it will drain the entire area of the tank until it reaches the overflow pipe. This is fatal for people with small sumps. If your box was sealed it would only drain the little bit of water entering through the box's teeth and the the few inches of water above the pipe in the box.

Looks nice Pete! The light looks great over that tank. Wow you really lost a lot in the crash, that's too bad. I'm glad to see everything coming back together.

I still have corals left over, thou is watching them for me. According to Swe my water is looking good.

Looking good, Pete. Will you be at SWE Birthday party 1/26? Bring a pail. Otherwise, let me know if you want to stop on your way home some night. Wed through Fri would work best.

Eye of sauron?

Are these what you were asking about?
