Demand for quarantined fish and invertebrates? (1 Viewer)

Heck I’d happily pay $10/each for QT Blackfoot trochus snails.
*cough* noted.

*thinks to himself* “How many trochus snails are in my qt tank now and fully ready to transfer”

:)

What’s weird is they reproduced readily and rapidly in my QT/frag tank but not in the display 😭

Weird. I see them apawn in my DT, but have only seen 1 or 2 babies ever.

Darn fish, eating my baby snails!

I was selling them by the dozens at one point from my 500 gallon reef. But as suddenly as they started surviving and overpopulating, they stopped and I had no babies.

Update: I ended up getting 15 blackfoot trochus snails in today. We'll see how they do over the next three months ;)

...well, they died. I think I messed up the acclimation when trying something new out. Right now I'm waiting for tuxedo urchins though....

I did get my hands on a skunk tilefish and a male mandarin dragonet that just finished quarantine and observation last week. Also an adiergastos butterlyfish, but he's with me until he gets bigger ;)

I have learned that I need to improve my photography skills. But I did finish quarantining these cool fish. Will start a thread forthwith:

Ornate leopard wrasse
Blue eye bristletooth tang
