As promised, I created a new thread (and moved over the relevant conversation from this events thread). Please use the link below if you'd like to join in the discussion.

Please note, this link routes to the "Club Election Business" forum, which is a members only forum. I thought that was the appropriate place to have the discussion.

Great question. Kids are most definitely FREE! We want the kiddos getting excited about these amazing critters we keep. Bring the whole fam!

Hey all!
This will be my first time setting up a table! Any tips or advice for me? What does a typical booth look like? What should I bring?Super excited to be a part of this event!!
The spots are 10x10 and include a 6-foot table. Beyond that, you're on your own. Most frag sellers have one or more frag tanks, and all the equipment to run them (power strips, heaters, powerheads, lights, etc). You'll need something to package the frags in, a way to take payment, etc.

Yo Ashley. We are super stoked to have Petco - Minnetonka back on the show floor! And though its your first show, we have a great venue and a bunch of volunteers to help make your experience worthwhile.

I'll shoot you a PM with more details, but expect 300-500 eager fish nerds and reef geeks to cycle through the hall. Mobs of folks with coolers and boxes and bags wandering about awestruck in the actinic glow. It gets to be an exciting 4 hours that flys by!

I think people are pretty welcoming. I’d also ask some of the veterans like @nox.rupaw and @Chad Vossen as well.

Most booths seem to be pretty similar to each other in that they have a frag tank, blue lights, a banner/poster, and sometimes free swag.

It's pretty chill. Just make sure the livestock you're offering is healthy and free of major pest. You can have a simple table with things pre-bagged, or you can have an extensive booth with table cloth and marketing. I've done it all. I usually have best success with preselling corals as much as possible, make sure to get their name/number so you can communicate with them at the show for pick up if you sold something. Make list of what you're buying and selling.
