3 Foot Nano Tank (1 Viewer)

Latest full picture. Sadly, I took the photo last week and this week my gold torch took a turn for the worst. Its barely hanging on and am kind of at a lose as to what happened.

That's too bad to hear about the torch. The tank looks incredible though!

Is that midas thin or is that just the angle he is swimming at?

Thanks

Probably a combination of both. He is the skinnest of the 3. Anytime I drop food in he usually hides. The clown will gobble up 80% of it and the last two slowly pick at the remaining food.

I had a similar prob with mine. I added a auto feeder with pellets and leave the pumps runnning. Makes the food move around bit leaves it floating. Mines only like the food that floats. Then I feed at night every other day with mysis. Only eats a little cause of clowns. But doi g this fatten mine up quickly.
Tank looks amazing btw.

That makes sense, it mimics Lyretail Anthias, so it would be more prone to be an open water feeder than a traditional blenny.

Pics look great! Although the second one makes me feel like I am about to hit my forehead on the corner of the tank. lol

Took a few blue LEDs only photos today. They mess with my camera a little bit the sensor tries its best.

My hydraphora and brain haven't been doing so great these last few months. They have very slowly lost tissue since January. I've decreased my biopellets, stopped gfo, and am trying to feed a little more. Because it is losing tissue so slowly I'm thinking it may also be bacterial related, anyone else have any ideas? During this last weekend I did a very large water change and completely cleaned my sump and equipment. My hydra had similar necrosis last year and a big cleaning lead to a recovery.
Photo from today and from January

2 year update!! Wooohoooo

I shot a new video a few days ago.

Video will be linked later this evening after it finishes uploading

All corals have been doing much better lately. Everything has been keeping its color or is becoming more vibrant.

I finally received my order of Lugols Iodine in the mail so I hope my slow tissue recession on my hydrophora and brain stop after a little bath. I also added a tiny amount to the display to keep infections down and color up a few of the corals.

Our company is still under construction on their new building. I've gone over to the new space 2-3 times and I'm a little worried as to where this tank will go. I'd love to keep it right next to me like I have it now but I'm losing my room to a glorified cubicle. And to make it worse radiators are being install along the walls. There was a perfect spot for the tank until those went in.

I haven't attached music yet either so you can hear how quiet the system is. Just a slight hum from the Eheim return pump.

Thanks guys! So far the only dosing has been Kalk with my top off water on a timer matched to my evaporation rate.

Well for a long time I've been increasing my feedings but the Midas Blenny has never fattened up. The corals sure love it so I'll keep up with the heavy feedings but the blenny must have something.

Medicated the tank with Prazipro last night after a water change. (Thanks @ChristopherKriens)

I also have new Mysis and Cyclopeeze so hopefully he'll be looking his best again.

Mine is not a great eater also. I auto fees pellets in the am with very little flo. That's all that worked for me. And every 3rd day I feed frozen pushed into a pump to break up and pointed towards his hole. He gets a little then also.

2nd dose of Prazi happened this afternoon. (Thanks again Chris, I'll return the bottle to you shortly) Hopefully my Midas does better.

In the mean time 2 new corals

Tank is getting a little green heavy again unfortunately. Im saving all new tank funds for the swap so hopefully I can fill in 2-3 areas with orange, purple, or blue (little maximas please).

If you want to add some red or purple, I can get you some more montis.
I had/have smaller frags in the sump that would be perfect.
Looking great, though!
