It has been kind of fun dragging this whole process out. I have another 3-4 weeks to go. It has made for a very exciting Fall.

Yes, that is correct.

All plumbing is dry fitted and ready to go. Manifold is built and glued as well. Now I just have to wait for the tank to arrive. Shouldn’t be long now. The tank is done and curing. I should have s delivery date soon.

I ended up going with 3 finnex 300 watt titanium heaters. I wanted to do two 500 watt heaters but they would not fit in my sump in the heater holder area. I figure I will set them each .2 degrees apart so the 2nd and 3rd only kick on when needed. I hope 900 Watts is enough!

Hopefully my next update will have a picture of my tank in the basement.

The tank arrived today! Got it unloaded nd in the heated shop. Could not resist throwing the aquascape in just to see why it looks like.

The production manager showed me around when I picked up my tank a few weeks ago. I saw yours sitting there, unreal! Great facility, happy workers that really put pride in their work! 10/10 would buy again.

He was telling me about all the stuff they do to diversify their business. A tank leasing/maintenance program, livestock, etc. really cool.

I am so tempted to by 6 of those new Kessils that just became available in November instead of re-using my 5 year old Hydra 52 non hd’s. Just can’t justify another $2600 in equipment. I mean, you have to stop somewhere right Marty?

Marty has graciously volunteered to help me plumb this beast Saturday night and Sunday. Really hope to have at least some water in it before I go to bed Sunday. We shall see.
