Dang, make sure you take pics of it, before and after, box up all the glass, develop (print) the pics, and scatter the whole mess on this guys lawn!:biggrin:

Really though, before you do anything, try to reconcile with the guy, some people are actually halfway decent, you may be able to get some or all of your money back. Oh, and try to be civil, he's not going to react well if you storm over to his house and start screaming at him. It could very well be that he was unaware of the damage to the tank.

I should say in defense of the craigslister that sold it. That crack may have happened after you bought it. It is a common place for tanks to crack when working on the plumbing and/or moving them.
