I just saw these wavemakers on Amazon. The first I've seen beside Ecotech without a cord in the tank. Has anyone tried these out? Is this new?

They’ve been out and people like them. You’re at the mercy of a chinese app is the only downside I can see.

They’ve been on Aliexpress direct from Jebao for a while.

The only thing I have heard neg so far is has a tendency to fall of down to mag strength and switch back and forth

A British YouTuber I watch (Reef Dork) speaks highly of them. If you can get over the likely patent infringement and crappy Chinese app, as Ben mentioned. Or at least it seems like they were a tad early (I think 2026 was the patent expiration per some posts I read).

Do you know what glass thickness it was. I was under the impression the mags were a bit light for 3/4

If you havent seen how ecotech pumps are starting to fail faster and faster, I'm sure the jebao is as good. Or better.
Look at how the Nero pumps came out and had cracking plastic, exposing metal, and if that wasnt enough, the intake holes were big enough to suck in a vlamingii tang. Lol
The jebao copycat (slw/mlw series) came out shortly after and had none of those problems.
