Looks great Fritz...jealous already and the colonies just got moved. Pictures just can't do it justice. Looks really nice:biggthumpup::biggthumpup: Love the setosa and red planet...OK I love all your SPS. ugh, I need to start over!

Fritz, this is going to look amazing when it fills in more...looks great now.

So far so good.
The copperband didn't make it. I had him since the summer, and he ate like a pig, but he never gained weight. I should have tried to treat him for worms (though he could have had some other issue), but I have the- "once in a reef its on its own" mentality. But it was in my frag tank and when I took him out of there I had the chance to QT him... sigh.
On the bright side I am taking home wrasses to replace the CB. I'm going to start off with a mystery wrasse and see how full the tank feels after that :beerchug: I wanted to do a dozen porcelain crabs... but I've always wanted a mystery wrasse of my own... so guess the crabs are off the table.

I'm clearanceing out some of the larger zeo stuff at work... so I deiced to experiment with it on the tank. I used the Phols... B? and the polyps are super extended after a few days. Unfortunately my red planet looks a very healthy brown now, lol. I'm going to keep it going for a while though because its cool to see the polyps flush out.

I'm starting a Coral QT at home. I still want to get a few encrusting montys, but I won't put montys strait in that beautiful tank! I did put black sun coral and regular sun coral under the main rock structure. I feed a ton and they still don't come out. Li keeps telling me to be patient...I keep asking him what that means in English?

The feed schedule is twice a day (and occasional extra snacks) 1 cube of hikari mysis, 1cube of hikari megga marine, 1 cube of hikari rotifers, chunk o cyclopsees, squirt of oyster feast, and a squirt of phyto feast. I haven't got my skimmer tweaked well or its too big for that system... I am surprised I haven't had the system bust out in algae heaven. I have been keeping up with Prodibio however. I keep meaning to do water changes and hook up the bio-pellets... but I am lazy once I get home.

I was talking with Chad (Achillies Tang). I realized I just like staring at the tanks.. and designing the set up, I am sure not into maintenance or tweaking stuff however... who wants to scrape my glass for me? :gay1:
