Fritz's Home Display - Tank Build (1 Viewer)

its just salt from spills and such. Never a drop made it to the HW floors and after a good wipe down it looks like new! What did you use for a seal on it?

I like the re-focus Fritz! Knew you'd come back to the SPS wagon, just a matter of time. Took longer than I thought but looking forward to the new -rebuild. Are the flames going to be a part of the new tank?

Not likely. I am also reworking the 300 at work. They are likely to stay there with the Mystery wrasse. They were perfect in the 90. I just don't want to be redundant.

I just realized how lucky I am. Great Web service and great wife.
I am working on my overflows. I couldn't reach them, so my 100lb wife agreed to climb into the the tank and wipe down the overflow and prepare the glass for the bulkheads to go back in. AND I convinced her the pajamas would just get dirty if she kept them on... I couldn't convince her of letting me pull out my smart phone however.. still serious win on my part!
Then I couldn't remember which of the three holes was for what part of the plumbing... then I thought to load up this thread and take a look. Win again!

Reefing, it can be wild! lol

Fail that you didn't get the pics dude! lol

Rain is one awesome gal man - there is your win! Good Lawd!

I thought of 20 ways to make an acharpenter preemptive joke... you got lucky I had to run to Cub for vinager while the tank was filling!

:freak6:

Did I understand this correct. You tore down your whole system just to get your wifes pajamas off? :lookaround:... lol

Thank Goodness for friends with long arms. I would have never been able to get the old rockwork out alone!!

I've been thinking about cutting down all the power cords so there isn't such a jumble. The largest disadvantage I can think of is new plugs are harder to snake around and in the small holes. Any other thoughts on that?

Another friend came and helped me in a pinch. A lot of you know Dan loe who is a plumbing manager at the local Home Depot.

We had to take this old valve out. Fortunately, the new valves are much stronger and fit right into copper or flex tubing. This is a great way to add on a strong valve for your RODI. I use a garden hose for cleaning fish poo!

Cut the pipe and clean the edges.
