I want to try out Anthias one day but heard you need a lot of swimming room for them. Had you had any trouble having so many of them in your 90g?

they need swimming room, but not as much as you think, they want more hiding spot, as long as you got ton of those you are good and they love waterflow, as you can see i got 3 mp40 + 1000+GPH return. also they eat ton of food. so make sure your filteration can handle the extra feeding.

Update:
added 3 more flame angel to the display.

Auto Water Changer
AutoWaterChange.jpg

Apex Controller with PM2 and cond probe.
3 Float Switches
High switch: Safety back up for the set switch or overflow or in case of the top off fail. in any of those case, it will send out an email/text and at the same time will shut down the return pump.
Set switch: Main switch to refill the sump water level back to normal
Low switch: Safety back up for the water change pump to prevent accident over pump also will act as sump leak detector. in any of those case, it will send out an email/text and at the same time will shut down the return pump.

All float switches are mounted in side an acrylic box, the hole on the bottom will allow water level change as the sump water level go up/down but without any wave effecting the float switches.(i got 2 1400gph pumps in my sump for circulation.)

here's the Programming for the Water Change pump in the sump
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If DoW S------ Then ON
If Time 07:00 to 07:05 Then OFF (time still need to be adjusted)
water change system will do a 25G water change every sunday morning.

i will fine tune this water change system to auto adjust salinity in the saltwater change tank as well as the system.

Wow Li, just read through the whole thread. Love the tank. Those Anthias look sweet. Love all the fish activity. Tank looks like a flurry of activity on the video. Very, very cool!

Li,
I'm sure you've already thought of it, but your picture shows the RO/SW lines submerged... definitely make sure you keep the lines above the highest water level so they don't siphon out of the RO/SW tanks. Or at the very least create a siphon break somewhere above the sump. :beerchug:

that just a pic, in real life they are 1/2" inside of a 1" PVC pipe. there will be space in between the pipes.no siphon at all.
