Well I have been away from the hobby for a couple of years and now I am back with a 150 gallon build.
I have always admired Mr Bills setup and now am going to try and emulate his greatness
with my own equipment room. Working under a stand is beyond tedious and I love the idea of having some room to play this time. I purchased the tank and setup used and went through the pain of buffing out the tank and will reuse the stand which is not great. it is one of those old Tenacore setups where the stand is made from glorified cardboard some water damage had occurred and as a result parts of the stand had expanded like a dry sponge getting wet for the first time. I sanded down the areas and have coated everything with west epoxy which should eliminate any further issues with the stand and hood.
This build will not go quickly as I am trying to acquire all the pieces to get it up and going. now some pics:
