yeah, your tang should eat it, but if he doesnt then, not feed him for awhile and he should just eat the HA like crazy! but if you have other fish then that my cause a problem

I have been only feeding the tank once a day hoping to feed enough for the other fish but keep the tang hungry and eating the algae.

With having a rabbit, hippo, and the desjardini is there another tang I could get that would get along with everyone?

SWE. She seen it the night of the meeting. I went back a few days later to get some other supplies and decided to get it. I was surprised how fast it had changed colors. It was very dark in their tank with the dark back and sides but Li told me it would change to match its surroundings, which it did as soon as i got it in my tank.

Yea I would. I have always had a foxface and the magnificent is almost the same just with a little more color. Very social fish that is getting along with all the others and he started picking at the algae as soon as I put it in the tank.

Hay I got to see Ken's tank this weekend. All I have is :biggthumpup::biggthumpup::greenguy::biggthumpup::greenguy::biggthumpup:. Proves there is no such thing as to big. Lots of eye candy, but the leopards took a break did not get to see them maybe next time:beerchug:. It's a must see.

Thanks Ken

PS I love BIG TANKS:bow:

Lookin' sweet Ken. I hope the rabbit doesn't nip your corals. I think they are hit and miss, but not being the fish expert, I could be thinking of something else...By the way, how's the favia coloring up?...

I hope your wrasses make it. I finally got one to live long term after several tries. I think it takes several months before you feel confident...mines eight months...

I was worried when my Mag Rabbit started nipping at the sps... but I could swear the ones he likes to nip at grow FASTER than the others... Of course I don't have any zoanthids ;)

So far so good on the rabbit. Only thing I have seen it nip at is the algae. As for the leopards I have only been seeing one come out so I think the second one didnt make it. I still have by fingers crossed that it is ok, but it doesnt look good.

Well since my last post I have been fighting hair algae which had pretty much taking over everything. Over the last 3 months I have cut my lights to 4 hours a day, doing water changes twice a week, started rinsing my frozen food, and have been scrubbing, pulling, harvesting what I can.
All that work is beginning to pay off and I can actually see some of my rock again, so I thought I would post some updated pictures. Still playing with the new camera so some of these look a little washed out.

Very nice Ken. How are the corals dealing with the hair algae? I know what a pain certain macroalgae can be.

I lost one nice acro colony that I didnt frag in time to save it, otherwise i had to trim a few down.
