Awesome frostbite! Which one is which
the frostbite has to be Caitlyn since that's the bigger of the two, and therefore the one that's become female.....right?? :look:
What's your experience with the starcki damsel? I think it's a beautiful fish, but am curious to its behavior and such.

Thanks for that. Saw one on divers den last week and wanted to learn more about them. I've been contemplating getting a damsel for some time now, just haven't found the right species yet. Leaning towards a starcki now though. He was the last fish I added to my previous tank. 2 reasons for getting him. I had flat worms (couple articles I read said they have been documented eating them), also I wanted an angel but tank was too small (and I lost a flame back previously). They look just like an angel fish. Everyone asks what kind of angel it is.
As for Flatworms- I never saw any in my display after he was added, can't say I've seen it eat any but they flourished in my fuge.
The starcki was the only fish I transfered to new tank. He lived alone for 2 weeks. When i added the flame angel he definitely showed agression. Makes sense though as he had the whole tank to himself. After a few days he calmed down. Now with all the other fish in the tank he will chase one around here and there but definitely better.
Conclusion is they are a very attractive fish. Not very common. Might eat pests. Are typical damsels and do show a little agression so add last if possible.

Are those T5 fixtures the SunBlasters?
I have a pair of those on the way for my tank, so I'm just wondering how you like them; quality-wise.
